Technical Information

As ÖZ GÖKÇE TRANSFORMER, we carry out high-quality transformer manufacturing in our 15,000 m² modern facilities in Şanlıurfa. We set ourselves apart in the industry with the importance we place on technical details during the production process. Here are the technical specifications of our transformers:

Tap Changer In our transformers, we use tap changers that adjust the input voltage on the medium voltage side according to the grid voltage. This mechanism operates when the transformer is de-energized, and adjustments can be made from the transformer’s top plate or remotely. In our standard production, we use 5-position tap changers; however, we can manufacture them with more taps upon customer request. Tapping range: ±5% or ±2 x 2.5%.

Short-Circuit Voltage In our standard transformers, the short-circuit voltage is designed as 4.5% for the 36/0.4 kV and 25-630 kVA power range, and 6% for the 800-5,000 kVA power range. We can manufacture transformers with different short-circuit voltage values according to customer needs.

Frequency Our transformers are manufactured for a standard frequency of 50 Hz. However, we can manufacture for different frequencies upon customer request.

Overvoltage and Vector Group Our transformers are designed to operate with a 5% overvoltage. Manufactured with Yzn and Dyn vector groups, our transformers are suitable for full loading with the nominal current at their neutral points.

Operating Conditions Our standard transformers are designed to operate at altitudes up to 1,000 meters above sea level. The ambient temperature is specified as a maximum of 40°C, with a daily average of 35°C and a yearly average of 20°C. Upon customer request, we can produce transformers capable of operating at higher altitudes.

Temperature Rise In standard production, the transformer oil temperature rise is specified as 60K, and the winding temperature rise is 65K. We can manufacture with different temperature rise values according to customer needs.
